El Espacio de Primera Infancia de La Costa refuerza sus lazos con la comunidad
El EPI “La razón de mi vida”, busca garantizar la atención de los más chicos y para esto, en el contexto de las restricciones decretadas por el gobierno nacional, mantiene el vínculo con unas 30 familias de manera virtual. A su vez, invita a todos aquellos que tengan hijos o hijas entre 2 y 4 años a ponerse en contacto para ser parte de la iniciativa y recibir las actividades que se desarrollan para los más pequeños.
“En este tiempo tan complejo nos parece sumamente importante continuar garantizando la atención y contención que ofrece nuestro espacio, ya que es una de las maneras que tenemos de asegurar condiciones de igualdad y respetar el derecho de los niños y niñas de acceder a la educación temprana de manera integral, como así también el derecho que tienen sus familias de trabajar y/o estudiar”, remarca la docente de educación inicial y coordinadora del lugar, Rocio Pedrós.
El Espacio de Primera infancia ubicado en la avenida Naval y calle 39 de San Clemente, es el primero que se abrió en La Costa y llegó por iniciativa de Martín Poustis (actual concejal del Frente de Todos). Desde entonces funciona bajo gestión comunitaria y articula con la Secretaria Nacional de Niñez, Adolescencia y Familia.
“El EPI se inicia en noviembre del año 2019 abriendo sus puertas en el Barrio San Martín con una propuesta de atención integral que abarca a niños y niñas desde los 2 a 4 años, inclusive. Desde ese momento un equipo de trabajo, encabezado principalmente por las compañeras cuidadoras, llevan a cabo propuestas pedagógicas y comunitarias que se sostienen aún en la no presencialidad”, describe Rocio Pedrós.
